Following a complaint from traffic officials, the Worli police registered a case and launched an investigation. This incident adds to a series of threat messages received by the traffic police regarding Salman Khan over recent weeks.

Khan has faced threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the past. Bishnoi, currently held in Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati jail on charges including attempted murder and extortion, allegedly directed his gang in previous incidents. Earlier this year, suspected members fired shots outside Khan’s Bandra residence.

A police official reported a fresh threat against Salman Khan on November 5, discovered by an officer monitoring the helpline around midnight. This is not the first instance of threats from the Bishnoi gang, which has a long-standing feud with Salman Khan. This conflict traces back to 1998, during the filming of Hum Saath-Saath Hain, involving alleged blackbuck poaching. This event has continued to make Khan a target for threats.
