Bollywood Actor Salman Khan Receives New Death Threat

A threatening message targeting Bollywood actor Salman Khan was received at the Mumbai Traffic Control Room on Thursday. The message warned that a song referencing “Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi” would not be forgiven. The sender stated that the songwriter would face severe consequences within a month, implying they would be silenced and unable to work under their name again. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang allegedly taunted, “If Salman has the courage, let him try to protect him.” The Mumbai Police are actively investigating the matter.

Following a complaint from traffic officials, the Worli police registered a case and launched an investigation. This incident adds to a series of threat messages received by the traffic police regarding Salman Khan over recent weeks.

Khan has faced threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in the past. Bishnoi, currently held in Ahmedabad’s Sabarmati jail on charges including attempted murder and extortion, allegedly directed his gang in previous incidents. Earlier this year, suspected members fired shots outside Khan’s Bandra residence.

A police official reported a fresh threat against Salman Khan on November 5, discovered by an officer monitoring the helpline around midnight. This recent message has led authorities to increase security around the actor as they work to trace its source and identify any connection to Bishnoi, known for his involvement in serious criminal activities.

This is not the first instance of threats from the Bishnoi gang, which has a long-standing feud with Salman Khan. This conflict traces back to 1998, during the filming of Hum Saath-Saath Hain, involving alleged blackbuck poaching. This event has continued to make Khan a target for threats.

Authorities emphasize their commitment to ensuring the actor’s safety amid this ongoing investigation and urge the public to report any relevant information. The situation is closely monitored as officials address the serious nature of gang-related violence, seeking to resolve concerns surrounding Khan’s security and manage the challenges posed by organized crime.
