Despite losing Sanju Samson on the second ball of the innings, Tilak and Abhishek Sharma (50 off 25) formed a strong 107-run partnership, putting India in a solid position. While the rest of the Indian batters struggled, Tilak held firm, reaching his hundred in just 51 balls. He finished unbeaten on 107 off 56 balls, hitting 8 fours and 7 sixes. In response, South Africa was restricted to 208 for 7, falling short in their chase.
